Rik Hoskin is a multi-award-winning writer of comics, novels, animation and video games. He's written comics for Star Wars, Superman, Doctor Who and Shrek among many others, and he's provided dialogue for video games including Crimson Desert. He writes books and short stories under his own name and as James Axler. Born in London, he lives on Britain's sunny south coast.
Rik says:
I sent a query letter to Gold Eagle books in January 2007 about writing for their men's adventure lines and was invited to pitch for Deathlands. The editor liked my work, and shortly after my first book I was offered the Outlanders series, and thus spent about seven years alternating between the two. I'm the only person to have been the primary writer on both Deathlands and Outlanders at different times, working for the paperback and original audio lines. I've always been blessed to have super editors and, most of all, supportive fans who love these characters and books. I wanted to give those faithful readers and listeners something to say thank you for that support, so I decided to give away 40 signed books.
Does this mean you won't be writing any more Deathlands?
No, I'm already writing my forty-first book as you read this, or maybe even my forty-second.
Which character is your favorite contribution to the series?
In Deathlands, I had a lot of fun developing Theda Barr (in Deathlands 149: Extinction Generation). For Outlanders, it has to be Rosalia (introduced in Outlanders 49: Shadow Box), along with her dog.

Rik lives in Great Britain, so mail to USA, Canada and Australia may take a few weeks. Everything will be sent by tracked mail as soon as possible.
